when the Hi-Tech bubble of the 90's burst.He
escaped down to Gecko Cove to hide from his investors until things
cooled off.

Dax : The classic underachiever who lucked into his dream
job as the manager of a Coconut souvenir stand next to "The Ships Dagger", He enjoys all the island has
to offer, as long as it doesn't take to much effort.

Moe (Maureen): Owner and proprietor of "The Ships Dagger Inn", an almost respectable local hangout, offering a good variety
of beer, local tropical drinks and a limmited menue. She inherited
the bar from her father (Maurice), who can trace his linage back to
pirates, who used Gecko Cove as a hideout back in the 1800's.

Cap : A gator from the Everglades who made his way to Gecko
Cove when his little stretch of swamp became a parking lot for a
Stuckey's. He runs Cap's Deep Sea Fishing, and provides occasional
entertainment at Moe's in the evening.

Charley: Charley can be found from open to close sitting
at Moe's bar. No one knows much else about Charley. The rumor is that
he is independently wealthy (he does tip well), but no one knows for
sure.
